Rihanna is settling into motherhood.
"Diamonds" singer, 34, and boyfriend A$AP Rocky, who recently welcomed their first child together, are "doing great" as they take on their new parenting roles, a source close to the couple.
"Being a new parent is obviously an adaptation, but they are doing great. Their baby is healthy and Rihanna is simply admired by him," the insider says. "She was really so excited to be pregnant. She loved it. Meeting her son was obviously extremely special too."
"Rihanna barely leaves her share. She's a great mom," adds the source. "She wanted to give birth in Los Angeles since she has a big house with a backyard. She likes to be outside with her baby."
Rihanna gave birth to her first child with partner ASAP Rocky on May 13, reports TMZ.
The Barbados billionaire and the Fashion Killa rapper first announced her pregnancy at the end of January with a New York-inspired photo shoot.
Since then, the make-up mogul has spent the past several months strutting her maternity style, redefining maternity wear.
The insider adds that the songstress "doesn't seem rushed to get back to work" and "very much enjoys spending quiet time with her baby."
